Call Box Grill

Back on track (kind of - its supposed to ice over today making scouting/dining a pain).

I managed to visit this South-side establishment Saturday after two unsuccessful attempts (closed Mondays and closed for vacation).

The menu is fairly limited compared to other joints in town. No rib tips (and I wasn't in the mood for full ribs) so I got my #2 stand-by - pulled pork. It was not quite Lloyd's but almost. It has that same cloying sweetness but a finer grade of meat (unlike, say, Penny's).

Baked Beans were fantastic but the applesauce was a bit thin & bland (think Gerbers).
