Penny's

I'm on my own for this one.

Evidently El Scorcho impressed everyone enough that they wanted to go back Friday instead of, as we had planned, Penny's. A moot point it turned out as Steve had a meeting run late and we went nowhere.

I'll let someone organize these trips for a while and see what happens.

Meanwhile:

Penny's sucks.

The worst so far, by far. I got the pulled pork sandwich and I swear they just pulled a tub of Lloyd's (or worse, the Sysco equivalent of Lloyd's) and slopped it on a bun. $7-something as well. Plus I sat at the bar and got to hear non-stop chatter about who was off when and who partied too much the night before. Ugh.

I know some people swear by this place for BBQ. I attribute this to there being little competition in So. County for BBQ. No need to ever go back.
